Colombia .Barranquilla and my neighborhood
Colombia
Clombia is located in South America and shares a small border with Panama. The word colombia is named after Cristopher Columbus discovery, the language which Colombia use is Spanish. Colombia is bathed by oceans and rivers throughout the country , Colombia is best known for it’s emeralds and a grand diversity in flora and fauna , across the years Colombia had advanced in much aspects in cities around the country , much people knows Colombia because of the time when Pablo Escobar was alive he leaved a bad reputation to the country.Also Colombia is the country that mostly trades cocaine around the world. Colombia’s president is Ivan Duque which was elected last june. Colombia is also known for the exportation of coffee, palm oil, artesanies,fruits,textiles and flowers to other countries;Colombia is the country with the best coffee of the world, they trade all around the world .Colombia has three ethnic groups , the afrocolombians , the indigenous and the romani population. The tradicional dish in colombia is the bandeja paisa which includes white rice , beans , beaf ,platain ,chorizo,chicharron,arepa ,avocado, morzilla, fried egg and the ajiaco which is the tradicional soup in this country. The colombian flag has three colors those are the yellow, which means abundance and wealth ,the blue which means the color of the sea and the two oceans who connects colombia with the rest of the world ,and the red which means the blood of those people that fighted for our country and also means progress , love and power.
Barranquilla
This city saw me and has seen me grow. Barranquilla is famous for it’s traditions , which includes the carnaval . Barranquilla have a diverse in flowers for example the cayenne which is the tradiional flower at barranquilla , the actual Mayor is Alex Char who is a great person who contibutes to the environment and the city development and the first lady is called Katia Nule which works with poor guys and helps the integrity of the citizens, Barranquilla has also a volcano which is called volcan del totumo which includes mud . Is bathed a small part of sea which you can go and drink “ cooco frio “. Also we have a Big zoo which you can go with your childrens and have fun you also can go to the metropolitan stadium to see junior playing or another group of players across the day. Also too you can go to the museum of caribe or to the castillo of salgar which you can have too much fun. Barranquilla tradicional dish is mojarra with coconut rice and patacones with beach salad. Barranquilla is the golden door from Colombia is a city which is too advanced with fashion and the caracteristics of costeños is that we are too enjoy friendly and characteristic, all people knows literally each other and typically they said “es como mi primo”.
My neighborhood
Is a calm and quiet neighborhood because my building don’t have too much children’s, they’re only 3 but they’re very quiet they don’t make noise . My building have 36 apartments and is near buenavista , viva and it’s very close from iglesia espiritu santo for catholics . It’s not the amazing apartment but it’s cozzy and warm , i Like to stay in my apartment for a while , i live with my parents and in the next tower lives my grandma with his best friend and my pet . In my neighborhood there’s a big park that is under cunstruction right now but there will be can used in few months . I like to stay downstairs doing exercises or take out my dog . My grandma sometimes sales with my mom carrot cake or chocolate cake or brownies too , they love to make repostery because my grandma studies repostery , long time ago . My building doesn’t have a pool or a park but is what i sayed before is cozy because we stays like in home. In my building they are like 8 pets including cat’s and dogs , we can take out our dogs but we have to collect his needs to prevent a fall or a bad situation. In my neighborhood there are more people of thirt age than kids but i love my neighborhood like this .
